All nine boards of Punjab decide to reduce syllabus of inter classes as their classes started late with the delay of 2-3 months. So, Punjab curriculum authority reduced the 2nd year smart syllabus for arts subjects and mention the topic name and topic page number in the accelerated learning program (ALP). They also skip many chapters in different books. In the announcement, the Govt of Punjab mentioned 16 subjects of Class 11 and 12 combined for the smart short syllabus.
